IN THE FIELD

Like light from the constellations, the physicality of sound is measured by how it travels - yet it is understood by what it reveals.

I am drawn to what explore what sound can reveal about our innermost worlds, from the depths of our desires to our necessary incompleteness and to express the expressive dimensionality and sensuality of sound(scapes), like this.

In the field, I try to get as close to a sound as possible. I work with a range of gear, from binaural mics to transducers, in order to explore the relationship between sound and our senses — space, light, scent, temperature, and touch.
